The UK’s best-loved seasonal Home event, Ideal Home Show Christmas returned for its tenth remarkable year of all things festive. From Wednesday the 24th to Sunday the 28th, they took over Olympia London to give us an astounding show full of ideas and inspiration to create the perfect Christmas at home.

From stunning decorations to amazing gifts, Ideal Home Show brought together over 400 brilliant companies, Experts in the industry and the general public under one roof to create the ideal Christmas. With season essentials for loved ones and even your pup, the show was split into 4 sections which include Gift, Home, Decorations and Pet!

Not only that but for the fifth year running, the show has co-located with Eat and Drink Festival Christmas, giving all visitors a free pass to the epitome of foodie heaven. With both food experts Rosemary Shrager and Ed Baines, offering their top tips and expert advice on perfecting a festive feast for Christmas! Among a wide variety of different cuisines and independent artisan food products, from an eclectic selection of the best street food vendors and mixologists, we were definitely spoiled for choice!

The Christmas Home Section was packed full of gorgeous furniture and seasonal interiors. With 4 different rooms, brought to us by Good Homes, there were some amazing ideas for both Living and Dining to create the ultimate Christmas set-up and wow your guests!

From unique novelty baubles to jaw-dropping festive garlands, the Decoration section was full of bespoke decorations from amazing artisan artists and craftsmen. With a range of Nutcrackers, Reindeers and everything sparkle, there were many options to choose from to spruce up your home in time for the big day. As well as tons of different gift ideas from this seasons top gadgets, stocking fillers and plenty of perfect gifts for him, her and the children.

And not to forget your furry friends, there was a great selection of gifts for your pet, for you to choose from. Such as adorable doggy jumpers and festive flavour chews, there were so many cute ideas for pet presents this Christmas.

Also for those who have a passion for everything handmade, the Christmas Theatre hosted some of the nations most respected experts from each section to share tips and tricks to the Traditional Christmas. From live Q&A’s from many experts, there was everything from home decoration advice, homemade gifts and even the latest fashion trends, just in time for the Festive season.

All throughout the show, there were amazing live performances from the nostalgic jazz songstress Victoria Bass, gospel singer Roger Samuels, Gospel singer, songwriter & vocalist, Tremaine Dawkins and the sensational gospel choir group, Enchorus, which was the cherry on top of this ultimate festive outing.

After all the shopping and browsing, there was also a chance for all visitors to enjoy their Christmas dinner early at the Christmas carvery. With plenty of options to choose from like mains of turkey, gammon and vegetarian Christmas loaf and then everyone’s favourite festive desserts, Chocolate yule log and Christmas pudding.

Visitors also had the chance to relax and enjoy a glass of bubbles in the Champagne bar and even receive a pamper session from a range of various, complementary treatments!

This Year’s Ideal Home Show has been astounding. From amazing artisan cuisines to choose from, to the nations most loved Experts and companies, there was truly everything for everyone (including kids)! And with children aged 0 – 15 being able to go free with a paying adult, you cannot go wrong. Whether it is a day out with the family or a trip with a friend, Ideal Home Show was the best place to be this time of year.
