AMSCHELA: London Fashion Week and Official Collection Launch

This year, Amschela held their very first London Fashion Week preview which was held at one of their stockists, Wolf and Badger.

From timeless classics to stunning original pieces, this SS22 season was very different as it offered both digital and physical shows and reintroduced the public to brands via The LFW City-Wide, a celebration programme of events curated by the British Fashion Council in partnership with key landowners, retailers, cultural institutions and hospitality partners. Over 100 events were therefore open to the public for the first time since the beginning of the pandemic.

This launch was displaying a range of breath-taking bags and celebrated the release of the new Thais Croc Medium which has PETA approved status (yes, it is vegan!) and their range of luxurious bags are even more than what meets the eye. Amschela aims to bring affordable luxury handbags to contemporary women with its stylish and chic design. Elegantly stylish and unique, the new range of Vegan Croc crossbody bags are what dreams are made of. Amschela strives to use high quality, environmentally friendly, certified materials that are sustainable, serve to reduce our carbon footprint and are not harmful to animals. Embracing social responsibility is embedded in their future roadmap.

Amschela is a member of SME Climate Hub which allows the brand to either plant a tree or remove a plastic bottle from the ocean with every consumer purchase as well as supporting 6 third world sustainability and climate change products which makes me love the brand even more. They are very close to fully becoming a vegan brand and pride themselves in being authentic and organic in their approach to providing women all over the world with affordable, eye-catching luxury bags. They range from messengers, totes, day bags, structured, unstructured, cross body, evening, purses, casual or designer. Focused on encapsulating the intrinsic charm of the modern-day contemporary woman, each colourway stirs up an identification structure that is transcending in character and will last for years to come.

The colourway palette ranges from Deep Violet, Royal Cobalt, Chassis Black, Ruby Red and Emerald Iris. Each bag with its own unique feel of elegance and timelessness. Whether it is day or night, the Thai Croc Medium will give the consumer the feeling of luxury they deserve. The event had some amazing sponsors that were Tin Shed Soap, Milaaya Embroideries and Pulse Light Clinic.

Milaaya Embroideries was founded in India and has been established to unite the arts and crafts of the artisans from their villages in Asia and specifically India to countries all over the world, portraying itself through its exotic collection of hand embroideries and beading.

Pulse Light Clinic is based in London, and they offer a range of aesthetic and medical treatments using state of the art laser technology.

Tin Shed Soap is made in Snowdonia and is handcrafted, natural, organic soaps with 100% plastic-free and recyclable packaging.

For a 1st fashion week preview, Amschela did extremely well. Attention to detail and exceptional atmosphere were the keys to the success of this event. The display that Amschela put on was gorgeous, what more than a perfect time for a first in-store launch than London Fashion Week. I am so very proud of Keri Andriana, a lady boss, a mogul, a client and a dear friend… So here’s to one and many more to come!
