1. Balloon sleeves
We first started to see the balloon sleeve trend in spring 2018, and it seems the Victorian-inspired trend is here to stay for now. We are certainly on-board.
2. Boy meets girl: Menswear meets womenswear trend
The once old-fashioned corduroy has become a major trend for A/W20, and not just for men. The oversized corduroy seems popular among women this season as well.
3. Be bold: Go gold
What better way to make an entrance than in a stunning gold dress, and after months of loungewear, it is time for a bit of glamour again.
4. Chunky knitwear
Nothing says winter like a chunky knit, perfect for working from home or paired with jeans for a day out.
5. Skirt suits
The masculine pantsuits have now been replaced with skirt suits, because you can still wear a skirt and run the world.
6. Black is back
Although we love the bright colours in summer, there is something about a little black dress that will always have a special place in our wardrobes.
7. Fiery red & hot
Sometimes you want to stand out from the crowd, and a bold red statement piece is the best way.
8. Check mate (tartans, houndstooths or ginghams print)
A checked shirt will always remind us of Autumn, but this season the print is not just limited to shirts, try it in a dress or trousers.
9. Fringes everywhere (skirts, bags, dresses, or coats)
The fringe trend for A/W20 has been approved by Rihanna, as she can be seen on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar September Issue wearing a fringe dress, and that is convincing enough for us.
10. Long belted leather coats
I am sure you have seen this trend all over Instagram, the 90’s inspired easy-to-wear piece is definitely a must-have for A/W20.
